Hey, AV is lonely and emo, but who can blame him?


Ok so welcome to December 10th 2006 update. Past 2-3 weeks (idk how long its been but not too long so whatever) have been pretty exciting for me and my LS. If you've been following you know CDC is it's 4th month approx. since it's conception and I am growing more and more impressed with my members and our cohesiveness every week.

To start this update I'm going to drop the 2 Jailer of Love bombs. Back to back Saturdays we popped Jailer of Love, long friggin boring ass fight. Especially on NIN (my PLD is almost done thank fucking god,) anyways here's what we got:


This was last saturday, pink shell is Kupo LS, we had them there ready for AV pop team up, but no pop that day.



This was last night, earring woo, but still no Novio as you can see.

However we did get a nice visit from you know who (read the text, so emo lol)

So since AV popped and we've tried hard to stay on terms with all LS on Fenrir we called in Kupo LS while we held it. As it turned out not many of the right jobs were on in Kupo so we placed a call in to Magitek (for reference AV has never been below 94% on Fenrir server, nobody cares much about team ups we just want to kill it) Magitek also didn't have many, but between our 3 LS's (mine many had to log since we had to hold it til about 12:30-1am) we put together a 12 BLM 3 RDM 3 NIN ally and a tank / zerg ally.

As expected between 3 LS there was some confusion at first, but we finally actually got it together, BLM got Wynavs dead, tank ally started zerging AV (gogo kraken clubs.) We got a turn of bad luck, right after wynavs died AV popped Manafont and insta-cast Meteor. 2500 dmg to 36 people, nothin much you can do.

Was about 1:30AM by this time so we just let it go, however I'm pretty sure everyone involved had a good time, XP loss or not. AV hasn't been up many times on Fenrir and still never been killed so any chance to fuck with him is very welcome, and any chance for me to CFH AV for a random screenie is welcome too :p



I mijin'd right after CFH so nobody would get -ga'd, but yea, still fun :D

We killed hope + justice on Wednesday hoping to complete our 3rd JoL pop, but both jailers only dropped weapon. </3>
Back to farming ghrahs, aerns, ix's and flowers. Going to be taking it easy over break, relaxing while we build up some more JoLs. Will be spending some free time in the Aery, BD, and VoS getting some abj's (probably the only LS around with this much activity who has no 75 WAR, so gogo RNG Ridills.) Probably the last update til the new year unless we claim a fuckload of kings or decide to wander up to visit Jormy.


Gonna end with a BIGGGGGG CONGRAGULATIONS to my favorite annoying as fuck Mithra (<3)Ashiya for completing her Yoichinoyumi (stage 5 bow)





First LS relic, not going to be the last by a long shot, congrats again Ashi.






If you're on Fenrir and reading this and you are interested in the LS, we are most likely not going to consider any more apps put in after next weekend unless you come recommended or are really useful. So if you're interested in applying, do it now, we're already turning about 75% of apps due to jobs being filled, sooner you app in better chance you have.

Here it is, the moment I know I've been waiting for, and hopefully my LS has been waiting for. 3rd day of camping HNM ever as a LS, what do we do? Claim and kill King Behemoth.

I'm very impressed with my members and I'm very proud, half of the people there tonight experienced HNM for the first time with KB since we have many members who have spent most of their end-game lives in Sky only shells that would camp Roc or Simurgh if they got bored enough.

So anyways, congragulations where congragulations are due, was a great job, fairly good drops too if I do say so myself, I'll cover them later.

Regarding the rest of the LS activity, coming up on our first Ultima (yea woo who cares), ran up to sky one night to see how the RMT bannings came along, 4am EST and 35+ RMT still in sky = good job SE -.-

We will keep behemoth ToD and be around but until we get a few more members and really settle our shit in sea I think we will keep HNM as a fun back-burner project, however to my knowledge behemoth is the only one in reasonable NA time anyways at the moment. Will see us at aspid soon though, we know we are ready for Fafnir by a long shot and I am confident in my LS but I think we could use a bit more practice before Nidhogg. I don't think anyone will complain if we get A. Abj body while doing aspid though :p

Linkshells on Fenrir are breaking literally left and right, I have no idea what is going on. Vanquish breaks and reforms as Vintage and Zion, Vintage breaks and members go to Zion and others scatter. Yesterday GuessWho broke and members merged with social/sky LS Oogazn to form DuckHunt (wtf?) while GW leader Tyrn has formed a social? shell named TheUntouchables.

I really have no clue what has caused the unrestlesness of the LS's around Fenrir these days, I also have no idea about what GW is going to do about their JoL pop now (not that it matters)

CDC remains to some players as a project that will eventually die out, this I am aware of. When I made this shell even I didn't think it would ever work, 4 months later have 3 JoL pop (expect to see update about JoL drops soon ^_~) and have killed KB with some people who have never set foot into Behemoth's Dominion without really any trouble.

I know I've said it 50000x but again, I am so happy with my LS, and I am also happy that I turned a few of my sackholders who have been fairly anti-HNM into fans of HNM today.

This has pretty much been a pointless update but since I'm doing it I want to give big congrats to Etterni, easily one of the best PLDs on Fenrir in my opinion probably the best PLD around without M. Body. There are certain people in my LS who work exceptionally hard and I take pride in pimping out, Etterni is one of them: 4/5 Homam 3/5 Koenig 4/6 Valor. He's such an amazing PLD and he works so hard despite getting the shaft in the LS's he's been in in the past. Big congrats on your Koenig Dieschlings there bud.

Got Valor Hands today, very happy about that, one of the best pieces overall for PLD, thanks DW.

I've been slowly selling off my NIN gear that isn't tank gear because I have almost no free time to use it in a setting that isn't event tank..so yea..also think I found a buyer for my Noritsune Kote finally, with the way they don't sell you'd think people didn't like using meat.

PLD, to be honest...I fucking hate the job, I really do. However it has become my little project to see how good of a PLD I can be, while still absolutely hating it. I've been told it gets better at 75 when it's event only and I can only hope that's true. The only fun with it I have now is lv6 besieged with giants drink and attempting to tank things that would normally kick my ass.

Well we've picked up some new members, seem to be working out really well so far.

Attendance for the usual people still being an issue, we're looking to crack down on a handful of people and some serious action may be taken soon.

It seems more and more LS's are breaking these days because I get recruit. apps / tells out of people I would not have expected, but as we are a new and growing LS I am not going to be one to turn them all away.

Pace we are going can start looking to expand full time to more than just sea (once we spend these 2-3 JoL pops anyways)

Before I start, we've had a good week and new members have adapted fast (which is very nice) big welcomes to Yeargdribble + Chalumeau (hope I didn't butcher your name chal) as well as Unauthorized and Sasuun, who will hopefully be the last DRKs we ever recruit (I think the total DRK app count is around 12 now)

Going to give out congrats before pics because not sure have SS of all (I really need to fix my PC, buy ToAU for PC and get back full time on PC...not having SS's cuz of PS2 is getting lame + I miss my windower ; ;)

Hey guys, I hate LJs like 100% I'm gonna try to keep alot of my RL out of here cuz my RL isn't LJ worthy lately, lol.

Am going to be updating CDC LS progress here as well as Sath's progress in FFXI for those of you who want to follow my Relic KT progress / NIN tanking / DD setups.

It will expand, will have a nice big post coming soon from Jailer of Love and plus it's almost winter in Massachusetts so some stupid RL pictures will find their way in too.
